I bring to your attention the third, final part of the "bird list" from Malaysia.

Note - the guides mention Hirundo tahitica abbotti, at the present time this subspecies is reduced to H. t. javanica.
Every day from 1 to 6 March, many swallows were met on the seaside at a hotel on the island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi, Kedah).
From 4 to 8 August are common in Fraser's Hill (Bukit Fraser, Pahang). The swallows fed the grown chicks.

On March 3, we met a swallow in a barn near the village of Kisap on the island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi, Kedah).

On March 8, we observed while ascending to the Japanese Garden in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang.

I have no complete confidence in the correctness of the definition, but these birds were previously fixed in this place.

From 4 to 8 August, common at Shahzan Inn Fraser's Hill and in the surrounding area (Bukit Fraser, Pahang).
They moved in flocks in search of food, sometimes in mixed flocks together with other species of birds.
We visited the feeding troughs at the restaurant.

March 3, the first meeting of a pair of birds on wires near the river on the island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi, Kedah).
On 5 and 6 March, adult and young birds at the Oriental Village on Pulau Langkawi, Kedah.
On March 14, adults and juveniles were seen in a park in front of Petronos in Kuala Lumpur (KL City Park, Kuala Lumpur).
They met there in flocks on 26 August.

On March 14, several couples in the park in front of Petronos in Kuala Lumpur (KL City Park, Kuala Lumpur).
I met them there on 26 August.

On March 1 and 6, 2 birds met on the sandy seashore near the hotel on the island of Langkawi (Pulau Langkawi, Kedah).
On August 4, one bird at the Fraser's Hill golf course (Bukit Fraser, Pahang).

Swallow family
Small birds adapted for catching insects on the fly. The wings are long and sharp, the beak is short, flattened, the mouth is wide. Nests are molded from mud on rocks or buildings. Some nest in burrows. There are 9 species in the fauna of the USSR.
Shore swallow
282. Shore Swallow - Riparia riparia.
The size of a sparrow. The back is brownish-gray, the underside of the body is white, the craw has a brown collar. Tail with a slight cut. Migrant. Inhabits river valleys, lake basins or sand pits from the western borders of the country to Kamchatka. Breeds in colonies. She arranges a nest in a hole she makes herself. There are 4-6 white eggs in a clutch. The voice is a quiet chirr-chirr.
Quite easily identified by a brown collar on the goiter.
Mountain swallow
283. Mountain Swallow - Ptyonoprogne rupestris.
The size of a sparrow. The general color of the plumage is smoky-brown, slightly lighter on the underside of the body.
Migrant. Inhabits rocks along river banks in the mountains of the Caucasus, South Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Altai and the Tuva ASSR. A nest in the crevices of the rocks. In clutch there are 3-4 white eggs with brown specks. The voice is a quiet chirping.
It differs from other swallows in the dark coloration of the ventral side.
Barn swallow
284. Barn Swallow - Hirundo rustica.
The size of a sparrow. The dorsal side is blue-black. The forehead is red, the throat is rusty-brown, the ventral side is white or pinkish. The tail is deeply cut and long thin side feathers. Migrant. It inhabits the entire territory of the country. The nest is built under the roof of the building, less often under the canopies of the rocks. In clutch there are 4-6 white eggs with brownish-red specks. Voice - ringing "twi-wit" and chirping.
It is determined mainly by the brown throat.
Filamentous swallow
285. Thread-tailed Swallow - Hirundo smithii.
Slightly smaller than a sparrow. The back is dark blue, shiny, the "cap" on the head is red. The abdomen is white. Males have two long filamentous feathers on the sides of the tail. Migrant. Inhabits steep river banks and cultural landscape in the south of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Nests in rocks, buildings, cliffs. In clutch there are 3-4 white eggs with red-brown specks. The voice is a quiet chirping.
It is determined mainly by the red "cap".
Red lumbar swallow
286. Red Lumbar Swallow - Cecropis daurica.
The size of a sparrow. The top of the head and back are bluish black. Uppertail is rusty-red. The ventral side is reddish-white with dark longitudinal streaks. The tail is forked, with two long feathers on the sides.
Migrant. Inhabits low-mountain regions of southern Kazakhstan, Central Asia, southern Siberia and the Far East. Nest is placed on rocks, cliffs and buildings. There are 5-6 white eggs in a clutch. The voice is a quiet chirping.
It differs from the barn swallow in its variegated belly.
City swallow
287. City Swallow - Delichon urbica.
The size of a sparrow. The dorsal side is blue-black. Uppertail and abdomen are white. Tail with a sharp cut. Migrant. It lives in settlements from the western borders of the USSR to Sakhalin. Breeds in colonies. Nest is built on the walls of rocks and houses. There are 4-6 white eggs in a clutch. The voice is a loud "tirrcht-tirrcht". Easily identified by the bright white uppertail.
